The wait is over!!! The signs are up RT 110 A is officially a legal connector trail!!!! This connector trail allows you to access Ride the Wilds. The connector will allow you to leave the campground and get to Cedar Brook trail head (part of the Millsfield system) then you can get to Errol, Colebrook and Pittsburg. You can get to Jericho Park but it is a very long ride as there is not a direct route at this time. They are working on opening a connector trail that will shorten that ride by quite a bit. At this point the quickest way to get to Jericho from the campground is still by trailering.
We had been anticipating the opening of the connector trail for a very long time and appreciate the hard work that the NH Trails Bureau and the selectmen in Milan have done to make this possible. Please obey all campground rules as well as NH state laws for safe riding.
Our neighbors on the pond usually put on a very nice fireworks display that is fun to watch from our beach!! No guarantees but we usually have a nice show, Thank You to all of our neighbors who participate!
There is also a large carnival on the Gorham town green about 1/2 hour away. All the usual fare; cotton candy, midway, fried dough etc. The Great North woods is a great place to be for the Fourth of July. Book Early!
We request that your Holiday reservations include 3 nights.
